It’s time for pumpkins, and all the health benefits that come along with them this time of year! A few tablespoons whisked into hot chocolate supply our eyes with rejuvenating Vitamin A, our post-workout bodies with Potassium, our immune systems with Vitamin C, and extra fiber keeps our weight in check. It’s hard to believe all of these benefits come from a delicious warm drink that tastes like pumpkin pie!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups organic vanilla almond milk
  • 4 Tablespoons organic pumpkin
  • 1 Tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Maca powder
  • Pinch ground ginger
  • Pinch ground cinnamon
  • Pinch ground cloves
  • Pinch ground nutmeg
  • Pinch organic coconut cream

Garnish option: Whipped cream and crushed gluten-free graham crackers for garnish.

Preparation

  1. Whisk all ingredients together and bring to a simmer.
  2. Pour into mugs, garnish and enjoy.
  3. For an extra boost, add a shot of your favorite espresso.
