There are two cornerstones in creating full-bodied, hickory-smoked flavor: rich hickory wood, and time. For our Hickory Smoked Chicken, we can check off both of these requirements, putting us in the same league as award-winning smokehouse masters.
We start with a dry rub of Mediterranean sea salt, freshly cracked black pepper and aromatic spices. Next, each dry-rubbed piece of tender, juicy chicken is slow-cooked in our smoker at a low heat to permeate each bite with distinct hickory flavor. To compliment this BBQ-inspired feast, we’ve paired our smoky chicken with a sweet and crunchy Honey-Orange Vinaigrette Tossed Broccoli. Farm fresh broccoli florets are lightly tossed in a citrusy olive oil-based vinaigrette that pairs perfectly with the earth smoked chicken.
